Privacy Policy

What we store

• Account information: your email address, account identifier, sign-in records, and authentication status.
• Your placement: the photo you upload, label, optional link, selected location or featured rank, and moderation status. Active placement content is publicly visible on the board, so do not submit anything you do not want made public.
• Purchase records: Stripe customer, subscription, payment, receipt, and billing-status identifiers needed to activate a placement, prevent duplicate fulfillment, manage renewals, handle disputes, and provide support.
• Safety and support: reports, support messages, and records needed to investigate abuse, fraud, copyright complaints, or service failures.
• Technical information: basic request, device, browser, IP-address, and error information that our hosting, authentication, storage, and payment providers may process to deliver and secure the service.

What we never see

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us — we never see or store it.

On your device

PicPlots uses local storage for preferences, draft photos, pending-checkout recovery, and a local copy of your recent placements. Clearing browser or app data removes that local copy but does not cancel a subscription or automatically delete server records.

How information is used and shared

• We use information to authenticate users, reserve and display spots, process and reconcile payments, moderate content, prevent abuse, and answer support requests.
• We share information with service providers only as needed to run PicPlots, including Stripe for payments and Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage.
• We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Retention and your choices

We keep active account and placement data while needed to provide PicPlots. Payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, backup, and legal records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary or legally required. You can cancel billing or delete your PicPlots account and public content through Manage Account. You may also email us to request access or correction; we may need to verify your identity and may retain records the law allows or requires.

Children

PicPlots purchases are not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to purchase or list a spot.
